The high dunes of Chegaga, Sahara desert and Draa Valley

Arrival & Pickup at Zagora Airport by your driver/guide to start your Sahara Desert Experience.
After arrival in Zagora the journey starts heading south to M’hamid Ghizlaine a small town 90kms south of Zagora that marks the end of the road and the start of the real desert . Then continue via Tamagroute 20kms south of Zagora to visit the pottery village where talented men & women create beautiful ceramics by hand to be put on display. Take a look around you may find that special treasure to take home with you.
On arrival in M’hamid Ghizlaine you will be greeted by your Moroccan Camels to take you on a magical journey to your Saharan Desert camp for the night. Enjoy a beautiful afternoon and evening exploring the surrounding sand dunes, the world renowed sunsets and the delicous food prepared for you Saharan-style before experiencing some great Saharan Music under the star lite skies. Night in a traditional Berber bivouac.

Breakfast in the Sahara Desert camp of M’hamid Ghizlaine You will embark on a 2hr journey across the desert by camal deeper into the Sahara Desert before being met by your 4x4 to continue off road to one of the most spectaclar sights in the Kingdom of Morocco. The Majestic peaceful dunes of Erg Chegaga that rise 300m high. Before arrival in Erg Chegaga Desert Camp you will go through a challaging off road ride right through the desert passing by a natural oasis and local nomadic families that reside in the desert. On arrival in Erg Chegaga you will be met by a stunning view of the 300m High Dunes and the camp in which you will use as your base for the night. Moroccan tea and snacks will await you for a little down time to admire the peaceful calm location. Options: Sand Boarding (a fantastic way to really explore the dunes) After a relaxing evening Dinner will be served dinner accopained by Saharan music played by the locals under the stars.

Early morning wake up for the sunrise over the top of the Erg Chegaga Dunes before heading back to camp for breakfast. After breakfast departure for Zagora via Lake Iriki. Heading off road through the desert Lake Iriki is a dried up lake and for as far as the eye can see if pure flats of the lake bed.
As you continue on the journey you will arrive in Foum Zguid for a short lunch break after a 3hr off road journey before you continue on road toward Zagora
On arrival in Zagora you will arrive at your hotel for the night set in the palmeraie of Zagora beneath the palm trees for a magical last night in the Moroccan Desert. Dinner and Night in Zagora

After Breakfast in your hotel. Your driver/guide will be waiting for you to transfer you to Zagora Airport for your departing flight. This brings you to the end of your Moroccan Sahara Adventure
