Excursion to Imlil in High AtlasZbartravel meet you in Marrakech at 8.30 am. We are traveling up in the mountains approx 1.5h to the berbervillage Imlil in High Atlas. Imlil is the base for climbing Jbel Toubkal, 4.167m, the highest mountain in North Africa.
On our way we make a stop at a women cooperative for magnifying and selling argan - the famous oil beeing used for both food and skin. The work they do is a solid contribution to their local society.
In Imlil you will have time to get an impression of the daily life of the locals.
A hard life with positive and hospitable Berbers.
For those who want a small trek in the fantastic area there is also possible for a ½ days walk.
We return to Marrakech late afternoon.
