Full Program

Day 1

Ouarzazate to M'hamid

Depart from your hotel in Ouarzazate after breakfast at 9 am – and start the journey with 4x4 through the beautiful Valle de Draa with a lot of oasis, palms and small villages. Maybe go piste through the old Kasbahs in the valley. After arriving Zagora the trip continue - and on the way you will get the opportunity to visit the pottery and coran library in Tamegrout.
When arriving to Mhamid the camel trek starts. Dinner and sleep in bivouac in the dunes

Day 2

M'hamid to the high dunes of Chegaga

Next day you continue with 4x4, lunch in Oasis before arriving the high dunes of Chegaga. Here you can take a trip to the top of the dunes and also try sandboarding. When the evening comes you will have dinner the nomad way and also local nomad drums and son. Sleep in nomad tent in the bivouac.

Day 3

Erg Chegaga via Foum Zguid to Ouarzazate

After breakfast you continue north through desert - crossing the dry Lake Iriqi, visit fossile area before arriving the small village Foum Zguid at the edge of Sahara. Then continue via the carpet village Tazenackt - and here you can find good quality carpets woven by the local berberwomen. In the afternoon we are heading back to Ouarzazate.
