We meet you at your hotel in Marrakech and take the road to the high mountainpass Tiz'n Tiscka and continue to the Sahara desert and the high dunes at Chegaga. Here you can enjoy sandboarding and cameltrekking, and enjoy the evening together With the local nomads. The next day we take the trip through the green and beautiful Draa Valley, take a short stop in Ouarzazate before visit the historical site Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Back in Marrakech early evening.

Incl.: Transport with driver/guide, 1 camp, Camels, Sandboarding, 1 dinner, 1 breakfast.

Day 1
Marrakech via Foum Zguid to Sahara and Erg Chegaga
Depart with 4x4 from your hotel/Riad at 8.00 am. You are passing the stunning Tiz’n Tichka, the highest mountainpas in Morocco, with spectacular panoramic scenery with mountains, valleys and an ever changing landscape. There are views of the mountains, valley, and you are passing Berber villages on your way. We continue south towards Tazenachte - famous for the colorful handwoven carpets. The carpets are woven by Berber women from the area. We then pass a rocky terrain at the foothill of Anti-Atlas, and further to the edge of the Sahara desert, Foum Zguid. The road goes along the edges of the Jbel Bani Mountain ridge where it meets the Sahara desert. Here we take a break and you can have your lunch.
We then continue into desert by 4x4 – passing the dry Lake Iriqi before we arrives the high dunes of Chegaga. Chegaga is the largest group of dunes in the region reaching a height of 300 m. Cameltrekking, sandboarding and sunset trip before dinner – local song and music and sleep in nomad tents in a bivouac
Day 2
Erg Chegaga via Draa Valley and back to Marrakech
This morning you can wake up to see the stunning sunrise in the dunes. This is almost a "must" while staying in desert. And after an early breakfast it is time to continue. We are passing desert – through hammada, small dunes and oasis until we arrives the nomad village M'hamid. A short break before continue. We will on the way visit the old pottery in Tamegrout before taking the road through the beautiful Draa Valley with a well of palms, oasis and Berber villages. When we arrives Ouarzazate, the film city of Morocco, there is time for lunch.
We then continue passing the stunning Tiz’n Tichka, the highest mountain in Morocco, and with spectacular panoramic scenery - mountains, valleys and an ever-changing landscape. There are views of the mountains, valley, and you are passing Berber villages on your way. On the way we will visit the magnificent Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – a UNESCO World heritage site and one of the best preserved and most spectacular kasbahs in Morocco. The Kasbah is also famous as a site for production of historical films.
We arrives Marrakech in the evening. After, hopefully, a memorable journey
