In many ways you can feel that the time has stopped, but the developement is coming to this areas too. The road came to M’hamid 10 years ago, electricity 8 years ago – and the autumn 2005 the village was connected to the rest of the world through internet. For a traveller from the developed world the daily life can seems like going back to another century.The people living in Mhamid is tolerant and hospitable - and live close to and with the nature . And not at least – the habitants are proud people !
This village is the centre for Zbartravel - and our company is lucky to cooperate with local nomads as guides. People who know Sahara and the area around – and not at least their own culture.
